Translation/Transcreation | Potential Long-term Collaboration

I'm looking for 2-3 individuals to add to my speed dial whom I can reach to when I have English - Malay (BM) translation/transcreation projects available.

We can't accept unnatural, robotic translations that are becoming very common these days, hence we strictly give emphasis to talents that have a creative flair; able to exercise their creative freedom in their translation and avoid literal/machine-like translations.

Therefore, you don't need to have a stellar profile or academic backgrounds to apply for this job. All you have to do is demonstrate your creative flair and your translation ability by translating the sample text below (the one in the Sample Text section).

To help you with this short test, here's a sample of our own translation that demonstrates the level of creativity that we're looking for in a translation/transcreation:

As we approach the season of love, we are excited to reintroduce the fan-adored Watermelon Lychee Cold Brew Tea, first unveiled as a limited-time offering during the summer of 2022. With our Peaches & Cream line of chilly Lunar New Year beverages still in store, it truly is the season where we show that we Dare to Brew Cold!"

Our BM Translation:
"Di The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, kami menterjemahkan cita dan cinta kami menerusi setiap minuman yang kami hidangkan kepada anda. Dengan tibanya bulan cinta, kami teruja untuk memperkenalkan semula Watermelon Lychee Cold Brew Tea yang telah mencuri hati ramai, dirungkaikan buat julung kali untuk tempoh yang terhad pada tahun 2022. Barisan minuman Peaches & Cream kami sempena Tahun Baharu Cina juga terus disediakan, maka terdapat lebih banyak pilihan buat para individu yang mendahagakan cabaran (dan juga aneka teh!)."

Feel free to rearrange words, omit or add new words, with the ultimate goal of making the translation sound as natural and idiomatic as possible to native readers.

For our shortlisting process, we will factor in Your Translation Ability and Your Rate Ask to assess and compare with the rest of the applicants to see which candidates would be most feasible for us. If we believe there is room for negotiation, we may contact potential applicants to discuss the rate further.
