Botanical characteristics of hazel

Hazel is a tall shrub that belongs to the family of hazel. Brown branches of a plant have on their surface a white lenticels. The use of hazel

In folk medicine uses the fruit, roots, leaves and bark of the plant. A decoction of witch hazel is used in malaria. Infusion of the bark of this shrub helps with varicose veins, varicose ulcer, capillary hemorrhages. The leaves of the hazel are an excellent remedy for beriberi, rickets, diseases of the intestines and anaemia. A decoction prepared from the leaves, helps with diseases of the kidneys, hypertension.

The fruits of the plant are used for epilepsy or cholelithiasis. The broth of their shell is used in colitis. The fruits in the ratio of honey to help with rheumatism, tumors, and ascariasis.
