Algae against joint damage

As you know, seaweed contains a large amount of very useful and, one might say, even the essential nutrients. It should be noted that some types of marine algae contains a lot of iodine, for this reason, doctors and scientists believe the algae is perhaps the most valuable natural source of this is very important for human health trace element.

A recent study was conducted which was organized by the specialists of one of the institutions in San Diego (United States of America), during which it became known that marine plants, in addition to the known beneficial properties, have another. Namely, the algae have, rather amazing secrete specific substances that are able to act like a real, very powerful anti-inflammatory.

The scientists the researchers found the ability of marine plants in the future may find wide and successful application for the treatment of inflammatory joint diseases in humans. For example, these properties can be used in this disease, as arthritis.

But it should be noted that not all seaweeds have these properties. Back in 2008, this kind of marine plants have been discovered by oceanographers. It was from that year and began a special study of this, so to speak, a new species of algae, because they contain many nutrients necessary for human health.

Scientists found a specific substance in seaweed need water plants in order to bleach the corals. That is why the algae got such a strange name, like "destroyers", for the reason that they contain such substances, under the influence of which there is some destruction of marine corals.

This may seem strange, but, nevertheless, these destructive properties of marine algae which was discovered recently, is able to exert anti-inflammatory effects in the human body.

As mentioned in the preliminary report of the authors of the study, data connection, so to speak, the properties of algae, in the future, maybe very soon, you can become an excellent base in order to develop new, highly effective cure for diseases of the joints, including arthritis.

The report also noted thatthe future will be able to develop a new drug based on marine algae belonging to the species "Cyanobacterium", for the treatment of cancer patients.
